1. Who we are
The Astro Bestie app and website are operated by Future Gen Sync LLC ("Astro Bestie", "we", "us", or "our"), a limited liability company registered in California, United States. You can contact us at hello@astrobestie.ai.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Astro Bestie. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. The App is rated 9+ on the App Store.
3. Your account is your device
Astro Bestie does not require you to create an account. Your onboarding details, preferences, and favorites are stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the App or reset its data, that information is deleted from your device.
4. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing
Astro Bestie offers optional paid subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Plans. Monthly, annual, and one-time lifetime plans are available. Prices are displayed in the App prior to purchase and may vary by region.
- Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial of up to three (3) days. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged the full price of the selected plan.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings in the App Store after purchase. Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds. All purchases are final once processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's policies.
- Taxes. Prices include applicable taxes where required.
Payment is collected by Apple, not by us. Apple's terms govern the purchase transaction.
5. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the App on any Apple device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. This license is provided under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, as supplemented by these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
All content in the App, including quotes, artwork, themes, the Cosmo mascot, icons, and software, is owned by Astro Bestie or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may share individual quote cards generated by the App on social media, provided the "astrobestie.ai" watermark remains visible (where shown) and you do not present the content as your own original work.
"Astro Bestie", "Cosmo", and our logos are trademarks of Future Gen Sync LLC. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its content
- Use the App to violate any law or the rights of others
- Interfere with the App's security, integrity, or performance
- Remove any proprietary notices or watermarks, except as permitted
8. Entertainment only
Astro Bestie is designed for entertainment, reflection, and personal enjoyment. The quotes, zodiac insights, and content in the App are not a substitute for professional advice, including medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are facing a serious issue, please seek help from a qualified professional.
9. Disclaimers
The App and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Future Gen Sync LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Future Gen Sync LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Third-party services
The App relies on services provided by Apple Inc., RevenueCat, Inc., and Cloudflare, Inc. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not endorse any content they may make available.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are entered into between you and Future Gen Sync LLC, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price of the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple shall have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
